Due to the Group’s continued growth, we are strengthening our Group Transaction team –part of the Group Investment Team - in Luxembourg. We are looking for a hands-on Junior Lawyer with a strong interest in NPL transactions, corporate law and cross-border work.
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior legal professional to gain hands-on transactional experience and develop within an international and dynamic investment environment. You will work closely with senior lawyers and management, supporting legal aspects of transactions and strategic initiatives across the Group.
What you will do
Assisting in coordinating legal workstreams related to NPL investment activities, M&A transactions, divestments and other legal projects
Support the drafting, review and preparation of transactional documentation (e.g. RSA, SPAs, loan agreements, shareholder agreements, corporate approvals)
Participating in due diligence processes by identifying key legal considerations and assisting in risk assessments
Assisting in preparing internal reports, legal summaries and documentation
Liaising with internal teams (compliance, risk, finance) and external advisors (law firms, consultants, auditors) to ensure smooth transaction execution
Providing legal support to the Group Investment Team on project-related matters
Conducting legal research and monitoring developments in Luxembourg and EU legislation relevant to the Group’s activities
Ensuring adherence to internal procedures, corporate governance standards, and applicable regulatory requirements
Your profile
Education and experience:
Master’s degree in Law from an accredited university
1–3 years of experience in a law firm or corporate environment
Foundation in corporate law (contract law, company law, securities law, insolvency).
Exposure to cross-border, M&A or NPL transactions is an advantage (not mandatory).
Skills and capabilities:
Fluent in business English. Additionally, French or Spanish is a strong advantage
Strong legal drafting and analytical skills
Ability to work in multidisciplinary and cross-border teams
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and presentation
Proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Location
This role is based at our office in Luxembourg.
